Summer Placement Programme

For Pharmacy Undergraduates the best way to start your career in pharmacy is to join us for our eight-week Summer Placement Programme (SPP). With the support of our pharmacy teams, you'll put into practice everything you're learning at university, work with patients and get to understand community pharmacy first hand.

The course is tailored to what you're learning, so you can take part during any (or all) of the summers during your degree. It's good to do a placement in your third year - that's the way to gain a place on our Pre-Registration Programme...

The pass rate for our Pre-Registration Programme has consistently been above the national average. The course is structured in line with the requirements of the RPSGB/PSNI/PSI but we cover so much more. The year is very well planned to give you the start you need. Throughout you're supported by a personal mentor, teacher practitioners, Area teams and HR.
