How to Apply

Before you apply, please make sure that you have read and understood all of the information on this site and that this programme is right for you. You can read about the stages of the online application below - and when you've decided you're ready click on the apply button to take your first step in the application process.

Stage One

You’ll need to attach your CV and answer a number of qualifying questions. The first section of questions will be about you and your interest in our programme.

This will be followed by a ‘situational judgement’ section. These questions are designed to show whether you have the level of decision-making skills that our Leadership Programme demands. This section is not timed but it will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. This is followed by a behavioural questionnaire, which has been benchmarked against leaders across Boots. This questionnaire should take no more than 15 minutes, as you should give your first response to each question and not spend too much time thinking about your answer. If you meet the standards we’re looking for, you’ll be invited onto the next stage of the process.

Stage Two

You’ll be asked to complete another online numerical test that looks for the level of numerical ability that would be required in the role. If you are successful at this stage, you’ll be invited to an all-day assessment centre onsite at our Nottingham Support Office.

Stage Three

The assessment centre is the third and final part of our screening process. This will test your skills in five work-relevant scenarios - some you’ll take part in on your own; some will be with a group. It will give us the opportunity to assess your behaviours and find out if you are truly right for this challenge.
