If you feel that you do share our passion and our attitude towards world-class retail, this is the time to start applying. Click on the apply button and this will take you to the main Boots job site where, once you register your details, you are able to start the application process. Our process is now fully online and is broken down into three stages:
Stage one
This stage of the process should take you no more than 5 minutes to complete. You will be asked some initial questions to determine that you meet the entry requirements for the programme and to help you understand whether a career in retail is for you. If you don't meet the entry requirements then you'll be declined before you proceed to enter your details.
Stage two
If you do meet the entry requirements, you'll go straight into the online application. The whole of the second stage should take about 45 minutes but you can complete it at different times if you need to. The first part should take about 30 minutes to complete. You'll be asked to complete your contact details, work experience and educational information and upload your CV. Finally, you'll be asked some questions as part of a Situational Judgement Test, that will help you and us determine whether the Boots Programme matches your interests and ambitions.
From here you will be asked to complete a Behavioural Questionnaire. This should take no more than 15 minutes - it's better to answer with your first response than to think about the questions too much. The Behavioural Questionnaire has been benchmarked against our best Store Managers and will help us determine if you have what it takes to become a great store manager too. You will need to complete this questionnaire in one sitting as the system will not allow you to go back in and finish it at a later stage.
Stage three
Candidates who are successful in the Behavioural Questionnaire will be invited to the 3rd and final stage of our assessment process, a one-day Assessment Event. Here you'll have an opportunity to meet and talk with store managers and current graduates on the programme and take part in five tasks that have been designed to give us insight into your potential. All the tasks are based around the work that goes on in our stores - in fact, you'll be asked to visit one of our stores in preparation for the event.
Do you think you have what it takes? Do you share our passion and enthusiasm for retailing and for providing great customer care? If so, we'd love to have you join us.
If you've any questions, which we haven't been able to answer so far, then please get in touch by emailing us at retail.graduates@boots.co.uk.
