Our team covers the whole of the UK; reliable and responsible, we don't only deliver medication – we deliver the kind of customer care that Boots is famous for.
Not all of our customers can get to pharmacies to collect their prescriptions and so Boots created the Pharmacy Delivery & Collection Service (PDC).
It was developed to provide a caring, consistent and professional service to all parts of the UK, delivering to care homes, collecting prescriptions from GP surgeries and taking medication to people in their homes.
We make sure the service is as efficient as it is friendly. We have teams of Drivers across the country based in the communities where our customers live. We work closely with stores and use the latest technology to plan our routes and provide a reliable service.
It’s satisfying knowing you have really helped people. That’s what our delivery drivers tell us – that they feel good about making a difference to our customer’s lives.
Their day is varied: from delivering medication to care homes to collecting prescriptions from GP surgeries and delivering vital medicines to people at home.
We look for responsible people who can provide a professional service. That means having the people skills to build good relationships with store colleagues and customers plus the attention to detail to ensure medicines are handled carefully and safely. You may well have had a driving job before, but this isn’t essential – naturally you’re calm and confident behind the wheel.
