"My story is about how I made the grade at Boots. I actually qualified as a Pharmacist in Poland but I really wanted to experience a different country. England was the natural choice for me as I could speak fluent English, and I knew about Boots in the sense that it was a big company with clear and straight career paths.

Moving to the UK was pretty hard and scary at first, but Boots made it easy by finding and paying for my accommodation. I'm also about to complete my three-month induction and go on to be a Boots Pharmacist, they give me all the training and development I need."

Everyone gave me the best welcome and I really feel part of the team. I'm originally from Rome and a musician as well! I had to decide whether to come to England as a musician or a Pharmacist. I researched Pharmacist opportunities in the UK and was inspired by what I read about Boots. I didn't want to do it half-heartedly, so I spent six months learning English and then applied.

It took a further six months to get registered in the UK. Everything I read about Boots on the Internet was true and I'm so glad I chose to come here as a Pharmacist. I'll keep playing my guitar though!"
