As you'd expect, there's lots of support. Our Area Managers will provide leadership. Experts at our Support Office will provide all the professional, managerial and commercial expertise. And, in store, you'll be backed by a team that includes (depending on your store's size) ACTs, Dispensers and Healthcare Advisors.
You'll be a role model, setting high standards in pharmacy and customer care. You'll be an ambassador for Boots, forging relationships with local healthcare professionals. And you'll be an inspiration - someone who can bring out the best in a team to help them deliver legendary customer service.
You don't need managerial experience. We look for pharmacists with leadership qualities which we can bring out through our structured development programme.
When you join us, you'll start our 13-week induction programme, 'Step Into Boots', which covers everything you need to know about managing your store.
From there, you can access further training and support through our 'Stay Ahead' programme, including some of our Stepping Stones modules focusing on activities such as driving sales and motivating your team.

Your Local Boots Pharmacy stores are at the heart of the communities they serve, focusing primarily on pharmacy and healthcare. Playing a key role in local communities allows you to maintain regular personal contact with your patients and build relationships with the leading health professionals in your area.
In a Health and Beauty store you'll have responsibility for all areas of the store, you'll be responsible for leading and developing a great team and will work with local Care Homes, helping to deliver their healthcare needs.
Here you'll lead a far larger team, build close relationships with key stakeholders and constantly look to deliver an outstanding performance. You'll also ensure the store's Care Home services run smoothly.
