Help customers feel good as a Dispensing Assistant

Fantastic customer care is at the heart of everything we do, and as a Dispensing Assistant you’ll be part of helping customers feel better. It’s everything from the really personable care you offer them, to the excellent products you’ll dispense. It makes a difference to our customers, and it sets us apart from other UK Pharmacy chains – after all we are the UK’s leading Pharmacy led retailer.

With different types of Pharmacies all over the UK, we’re giving customers the very best care and attention with the services we offer. Whether it’s their local Pharmacy they rely on, or the Pharmacy at one of our larger high street stores they just want to pop into. You’ll take care of our customers with our really high standards.

We’re offering a really great career opportunity. It’s a chance to build on your experience and add to your NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services – which you’ll need to have to apply to join us. We’ll also support your development, whilst you study for your NVQ Level 3 (QCF) for a Pharmacy Technician role with us which could then lead you to become an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT).

Or maybe you’re already working with us and looking to relocate to a new Pharmacy store, having completed your Boots Dispenser Training Programme (DTP). We give Dispensing Assistants great career progression opportunities, and the flexibility of full or part time roles.

We’re looking for people who are really personable and flexible, with a passion for genuinely wonderful customer care. It’s so much more than a qualification. Working together is important to us. With over 10,000 Dispensing Assistants across the UK, you’ll be part of our ambition to become the world’s leading Pharmacy led retailer.
