Let the stunning scenery that inspired the romantic poets surround you. The Lakes is one big adventure playground: whether you're rambling through fells and forests or ambling around shops and galleries.

It's a haven for food and drink lovers with microbreweries and Michelin-starred restaurants, cosy cafés and farmers' markets. All this within easy access of the M6, mainline railway stations in Carlisle and Penrith and Manchester airport just 90-minutes' drive away.

Working in the lakes is fantastic for anyone who loves the outdoor life and who values a great work life balance

Cumbria teaching PCT is proactive in developing community pharmacy services throughout the Lakes. Boots stores are predominantly small, local pharmacies with a couple of larger Health & Beauty stores located in the towns of Carlisle and Kendal.

There are CPPE tutors in the area and events take place in both South and North Lakes. The area has a low turnover of staff so there's a wealth of experience in many of the small local stores; ACTs are in place in all the stores delivering MDS.
