Life's what you make it in the Kingdom of Fife. Coastal walks; watersports; cycling; falconry; golf... South-facing Dundee (one of Scotland's sunniest cities) has excellent shops, bars and restaurants, a university and some fine buildings.

There are beautiful homes in country settings (think woodland walks and fresh air) in reach of Edinburgh but without the high prices. You'll find friendly towns to live in too, including Dunfermline, St Andrews and historic Cupar. There's an airport in Dundee, a ferry port in nearby Tayport, and you're never too far from the road and rail networks that connect you with Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We have a good mix of support teams with plenty of Non Pharmacy Managers, freeing you up to concentrate on pharmacy. It's is a popular area for summer placement students and pre-reg trainees so there's also scope to get experience as a tutor.

Boots has a mixture of local pharmacy and Health & Beauty stores with lots of cross-format working. Most have good-sized dispensing businesses and potential for building links with other healthcare providers. Under NHS Tayside and NHS Fife, the emphasis is on helping people stop smoking, addressing alcohol abuse and improving sexual health.

You'll stay connected through pharmacist meetings and newsletters. There are regular training days for newly qualified pharmacists plus dedicated CPD days twice a year for all pharmacists.
