This area has the best of both worlds: plenty going on in the towns of Colchester and Chelmsford and very well linked to London - but with relatively affordable property and some hidden haunts. It's a great place for families. The schools have an excellent reputation and there's so much to do: Colchester Zoo, Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, Braintree Designer Outlet village, or making sandcastles at Frinton sands.

I love working in this area. We have a great mix of customers. On your days off you can go for lovely walks along the coast. There is a great social life in and out of work which makes living and working here ideal.

North East Essex PCT provides a wide range of services. They have recently introduced Electronic Prescription Transfer and lead the way with Vascular Health-Checks. Boots stores are split between Health & Beauty and local pharmacy.

Local pharmacists hold PCT Branch meetings, quarterly pharmacist meetings and CPD events as well as keeping in touch through the Pharmacy Unscripted Social Networking site. Boots run CPD days in the area too.
