Inverness is the gateway to the Highlands: one of Europe's fastest growing cities and in the UK's top 5 for quality of life. The city has some great places to eat and drink and lots of development is planned, including a £9m upgrade of the harbour district.

Inverness is well connected by road, rail and air - and, of course, surrounded by the splendour of the Highlands: a haven for hill-walkers, golfers and anglers and packed with attractions like Culloden, Clava Cairns and Loch Ness.

The local PCT is NHS Highland. Boots have a selection of local pharmacy and Health & Beauty stores mostly in small towns and villages as well as those in Inverness itself.

There are regular Pharmacist meetings, area meetings and a newsletter, all focused around communicating with our pharmacists. Area Managers often organise social events for Pharmacists to help build the team. The majority of stores benefit from having experienced support teams. Scotland are proud to say that a high proportion of pharmacists attend our locally delivered CPD events.
