Today, historic Hull is an up-and-coming waterfront city. Home to a university, this is a great place to shop, eat out and relax with plenty of culture, including a number of galleries and museums and two large theatres. You'll find some great property options: waterfront flats in the redeveloped 'Old Town' or family homes in the East Riding's rural villages with good schools and a community feel - just 15 minutes' drive from the bustle of Hull. There are good road links to the M62 as well as Hull ferry port and Humberside Airport close by.

From a pharmacy perspective we have very proactive PCTs in Hull and the East Riding who commission many pharmacy services - for clinically orientated pharmacists it's the place to be.

The local PCT is considered one of the country's most forward thinking and commissions a wide range of services. Most Boots stores are local pharmacies plus a couple of Health & Beauty stores around the city of Hull. There's a Hull and District Branch of the RPSGB that meet with guest speakers. The East Yorkshire Pharmacists Forum has a website with other info for local pharmacists plus there's a Hull and East Riding Pharmacist Development Group. Support is strong, with ACTs working in many high dispensing stores.
