Near to classical Elgin there's 800 km of coastline, broken by windswept cliffs and rocky shores and backed by the wonderful Highlands.

The classical city of Elgin is a hidden gem. The locals are welcoming and there's a real sense of community. Crime is low; class sizes are generally smaller too. Lots has been done to reinvigorate the town and you could find a palatial home for the price of a London flat.

Wildlife lovers and outdoor enthusiasts flock here; the mountain scenery surrounding Elgin (including the glorious Spey Valley) is breathtaking. And whilst this is a great place to escape the rat race, transport links are good: the East Coast rail line to Aberdeen extends via Elgin and then to Inverness. Inverness Airport is a forty-minute drive away and there's also a good bus service in the area.

Area management are great at introducing new pharmacists to their peers and often organise nights out to ensure that everyone feels integrated. There are experienced support teams used to pulling together to ensure that the stores are well set up for any pharmacist.

The area is serviced by NHS Highland, looking after over 300,000 residents plus many tourists. You'll find a mix of local pharmacy and Health & Beauty stores with strong relationships between the stores who share best practice wherever possible so customers benefit from seeing the same faces when they visit.

Leadership teams here work very closely together, giving an extra layer of support. There are regular meetings and newsletters. A very high proportion of pharmacists in Scotland attended locally delivered CPD, which speaks volumes about Boots' commitment to development here.
