Wide-open space, natural beauty and some of Britain's best beaches.

Dorset's 140km of coastline includes natural beauty at Durdle Door, Chesil Beach and Lulworth Cove and award-winning beaches at Bournemouth and Weymouth. Sailing, wind-surfing, and fishing are all popular - or you can find a relaxing rural spot to paint or picnic.

Bournemouth is a cosmopolitan university town with great shops, clubs, bars and restaurants, and for music lovers, a symphony orchestra based at nearby Poole Arts Centre. Families will find plenty of picturesque places for property hunting, plus good schools, especially grammar schools, in and around Poole.

In 2012 Dorset will be hosting the Olympic regatta and there's even surfing at the new Bournemouth reef - so plenty of outdoor activity for all!

There's a large destination Boots in Bournemouth and many smaller local pharmacy stores located around the area. Throughout, we have experienced ACTs working in our larger dispensing businesses.

Boots Pharmacists work collaboratively with NHS Dorset to deliver key initiatives, e.g. pilots in minor ailments schemes, smokestop and vascular health checks. As for development, there's an active CPPE tutor locally (who is on Dorset LPC) whilst Poole Hospital runs CPD events for pharmacists and technicians. NHS Dorset and Dorset LPC are both active in running training events too.
