People come to Cornwall for many reasons: its coastline, its countryside and its culture. But also for a real sense of community.

Cornwall's rugged coast attracts thrill-seekers and outdoor sport fanatics. The stunning scenery and warm climate is great for gardening, walking or just relaxing (maybe in one of the region's many fine restaurants). Culture lovers have the Tate in St Ives and plenty of small galleries as well as enchanting gardens, historic sites and museums.

Community spirit is still alive and well here. People are friendly and get along with their neighbours; there are lots of good schools and the crime rate is very low. Cornwall isn't as out of the way as you might think. There are airports in Newquay and Plymouth, trains run frequently from Penzance to Edinburgh and London and the main A30/A38 links to the M5.

What's great about Cornwall? The 100% great work/life balance - when I finish work I can sit by the harbour, watching the dolphins and fish in the moonlight.

Working with Cornwall PCT, we have the largest concentration of Boots Pharmacies in the UK (over half of the pharmacies in Cornwall are owned by Boots). There's a combination of local pharmacies larger Health & Beauty stores in towns and cities.

There are extensive opportunities for CPD (EHC, Minor ailments, emergency supplies, etc.) and regular PCT meetings. We hold CPPE sessions and local pharmacists get together informally. There is a good number of ACTs here; many teams have been in the business for years, so there's experience and support when you need it.
