Since the earliest days of Boots, the welfare of our colleagues has been key. Even in the early 20th century, Jesse and Florence Boot were providing welfare, education, sports and social facilities for their growing workforce. Officially a great place to work

We listen to our people in a number of ways. For the last two years, thousands of people from teams across the business have completed The Sunday Times Best Companies survey.

They told us that people envy you when you say you work for Boots and how much they relish the great team spirit and real feeling of reward, recognition and appreciation.

We're delighted that this feedback has won Boots Opticians first place in The Sunday Times 25 Best Big Companies to Work for in 2011. Boots Opticians was also awarded a Best Companies Three-Star Status, which makes us an 'extraordinary' company to work for!
