SPP Student

We're well known for our passion and investment in the development of tomorrow's professionals. That's why so many talented young people join us for our eight-week Summer Placement Programme (SPP).

You can take part during any or all of the summers during your degree, but it's vital to complete a placement in your third year, as it's the way to gain a place on our Intern Programme.

SPP is a chance to put into practice everything you're learning at University, to understand community pharmacy first hand, and to work with patients - all with the support of our pharmacy teams.

Pharmacy Intern

In Boots Ireland, this structured course is mapped out in line with the requirements of the RCSI & PSI and we cover so much more.

By combining great planning and organisation of the year, clear and easy to use materials, structured, informative workshops, and your own dedicated mentor, we aim to give you the best possible chance of outstanding success.

Supported by a team dedicated to you, including Teacher Practitioners, Area teams and HR support, you'll find commitment and passion to help you become the Pharmacist you want to be.
