Applying for Store Jobs

We've tried to make it as simple as possible to apply online. Here's a rundown on what to expect...

  • First of all, we'll ask for personal details, a series of questions relating to your experience and when and where you're available. We'll also need a personal declaration and your CV (if required).
  • If the information you have provided matches the key criteria required for the role, then you will be invited to complete an online questionnaire which will take approximately 35 minutes. Don't worry no preparation is required for this.

What you'll need

  • An email address where we can contact you and which you can use to log into the system.
  • Your CV in Word or Rich Text format (if required).
  • Details of at least two referees, one of whom must be your most recent employer, the other a previous employer. (Don't worry – we won't contact them until we've made an offer).
  • Your PPS number.

Once you've logged in, you can return to the application as and when you need to. The whole process can be completed easily within an hour.

After you've made an application...

You'll receive an acknowledgement within a couple of days to let you know we've received your application. We'll contact you as quickly as we can to advise you whether you have made it to the next stage.

Here are our top application tips...

  • Search for a job by reference and location. We recommend that you do a full search based on your location preference. We do remove vacancies as soon as we receive enough applications and so you could miss out on opportunities if you only search by reference.
  • Register for job alerts. We can contact you when a job matches what you're looking for. Do give us your email and mobile number!
  • Read the job description and ensure you meet all the requirements (e.g. hours) if you don't, you won't be considered – simple!
  • Don't apply for lots of jobs. If you're not successful first time around but we think you're right for similar roles, we will definitely tell you via email.
  • Haven't heard anything? Check your email regularly and make sure that your email address is up to date.
