There are around 200 colleagues working in Nottingham and Swansea, focused on discovering, developing, testing and bringing to life a range of products.

We've launched some of the biggest health and beauty brands: Soltan, Botanics, Ibuprofen, No.7... the "miracle serum" Protect and Perfect. In 2010 we will be launching the Boots Pharmaceuticals brand, offering customers a choice of 1000 products from analgesics through to insect repellent. As Boots' vision shifts beyond the UK, we're going to need to be even more innovative.

It adds up to massive scope for scientists. On our Nottingham Support Office site there are state-of-the-art laboratories, a product evaluation suite and Supply Chain Service Centre, offering a unique opportunity to follow products every step of the way - from the first idea to seeing them on our shelves worldwide.

What we look for...
We look for forward-thinking scientists who want to work in a fast-paced commercial, customer-focused environment. You'll need strong team/communication skills and experience in either:

• Healthcare product development, over-the-counter medicines or vitamins /complementary therapies.
• Beauty product development, gained within colour cosmetics, skincare, suncare or toiletries.
