There are three key areas within Finance:
Financial Accounting operate the financial ledgers, co-ordinate the month-end process for all of the financial transactions and report the financial results up to Alliance Boots Group.
Management Information : produce insightful management information; budgeting and forecasting process.
Business Partnering : the link between finance and the business, supporting key decisions - from where to invest in new stores to understanding the impacts of marketing promotions.
