Undergraduate opportunities at Boots

As Boots continues to pursue our aim of being the world’s foremost pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer, we’ve never forgotten our roots and the important part the people of Nottingham have played in our achievements. That’s why we offer two exclusive undergraduate opportunities solely to the students of Nottingham Business School and Nottingham Trent University.

BABM programme

The BABM programme has been designed, delivered and managed as a partnership between Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University and a small number of blue chip consortium companies. Boots has been a partner since the Programme began 10 years ago. You’ll spend two years of the three-year degree course undertaking four different placements here. This enables you to gain a broad range of experiences, skills and develop management capabilities. One of the placements is in a store while the other three are in the functional area. During this internship you’ll enjoy the support of a line manager and academic mentor.

• Each year we take 8 - 12 students and offer placements in Commercial, Supply, team IS and Operations.
• To apply you will need to be studying at Nottingham Trent University for a BA in Business Management. Details will be avalible from your course tutor.

SIPS

We have set up the Nottingham University Summer Internship Programme to offer 2nd year students, studying for a BA, and about to start their 3rd and final year at Nottingham University, the chance to get some invaluable working experience. To gain a place on this course you will need to be recommended by the University. This will then be followed by an interview with a Boots Manager from the relevant department.

• The programme lasts for 10 weeks between July and September
